70 years of passion: a historic parade at the heart of La Chaux-de-Fonds! The Bas-Monsieur blows out its 70 candles! To celebrate this golden jubilee, Scuderia Taïfyn is organizing a grand automotive parade on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Forty exceptional sports cars are expected for a day steeped in nostalgia and camaraderie. Nicknamed affectionately as the “World Championship of 3 Corners,” the Bas-Monsieur is an institution. Small in scale, this race is immense in its atmosphere. To mark seven decades of history, festivities will begin in the morning at Garage Emil Frey SA, before taking over the city center in the afternoon. The day’s schedule: From 08:30: Welcome for crews and large public exhibition (coffee and croissants) at Garage Emil Frey SA (Rue Fritz-Courvoisier 61). Food and drinks available on site. From 12:00: Apéritif, official meal, and shared moments among enthusiasts. 14:30: Grand parade led by the 40 sports cars along the double avenue Léopold-Robert (Le Pod). 15:30: Toast of friendship and event concludes at 16:30. Calling all drivers: Do you own a historic vehicle, a modern classic, a legendary sedan, or a single-seater? Bring it along! The organizers will select an exclusive lineup of 40 cars (based on application with photo). Fee: CHF 50.— (includes parade, meal/drinks, and commemorative rally plaque).
